ZULAWY
Zulawy is the point of lowest elevation in Poland at 1,8 m below sea level. The wetland area of Zulawy is a perfect place for breeding or wintering of various species of birds. In the villages of Zulawy the roofs and utility poles are occupied by storks. In each village we can find at least a few stork’s nests. It is believed in Poland that storks bring good luck, that is why farmers prepare platforms on roofs of barns for stork nests by putting there old cart wheels.
ZULAWSKI HISTORICAL PARK IN NOWY DWOR GDANSKI
Zulawski Historical Park in Nowy Dwor Gdanski – the most interesting exhibition in Pomerania devoted to Mennonites – a religious minority from Netherlands. Due to religious harassment the community was forced to leave their homeland in Netherlands. The Mennonites resettled Zulawy and found there a new home.

PIPE ORGAN IN OLIWA CATHEDRAL
The pipe organ in Oliwa Cathedral was built in the end of 18th century. At that time it was the biggest instrument in Europe and also all over the world.
THE ASSUMPTION OF THE VIRGIN MARY COLLEGIATE CHURCH
The Assumption of the Virgin Mary collegiate church – Carthusians’ monastic church built between 1383 and 1405. It has a characteristic roof in a shape of coffin.

ST. JAMES’ CHURCH IN LEBORK
The endower of St. James’ Church in Lebork was the Grand Masters of the Teutonic Knights – Dietrich von Altenburg. The church was erected in half of 14th century. Its present look is the result of numerous alterations that followed after fires or war damages.

WITKACY
Polish painter, photographer, novelist, dramaturg and philosopher. Portraits are the most famous and most controversial of his works. He used to declare that while painting he used drugs what he noted in details on each painting. It naturally had an impact on the style of portraits – from naturalism, through caricature to so called Pure Form i.e. absolute abstraction and discreation of the form.
